Welcome to Lorne Bush House Cottages - a delightful blend of bush & beach, nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne''s forested backdrop, yet only 5 minutes drive to the Great Ocean Road, magnificent beaches, cosmopolitan restaurants and Lorne''s bustling shopping village.

For Couples

The added temptation of the bubbling double spa bath and cosy woodfire, together with the privacy and seclusion, assures couples of a fantastic getaway.

We even have 1 cottage with 2 doubles [1 upstairs & 1 down] so 2 couples can share a cottage on a holiday together.

For Families

Fourty-three acres of private bushland, provides plenty of space for families to kick a ball around, or have a game of cricket or volleyball.

The added temptation of a yabby dam, [try barbecuing yabbies with lemon & garlic or dipping in sweet chilli sauce], an adventure ropes playground and a 15 minute circuit walk down into the valley, ensure families have plenty to do.

Birdseed is provided for the cheeky king parrots & cockatoos and kangaroos are often seen grazing outside your door.

Things To Do

Explore the many walking tracks through the rainforest, to waterfalls and lookouts.
Fish for trout in the rivers and streams, or try your luck off the pier.
Enjoy a horse ride, game of golf, tennis or learn to surf
 
Experience the beauty of the Great Ocean Road on a day trip to the Twelve Apostles.
Sample many cafes and boutiques.
Take a leisurely swim or stroll on the spectacular surf beaches, watch the children fossiking in the rock pools or the surfers off the famous Lorne Point.

Lorne Bush House Cottages are situated on the Deans Marsh Road in Lorne, Victoria, Australia. Just 2 hours drive from Melbourne and 5 minutes drive from central Lorne, the cottages are nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne''s forested backdrop.

To Get There- Follow the Princes Highway [M1] from Melbourne to Geelong, then take either:
1] The Great Ocean Road through Torquay to Lorne; or
2] come via the hinterland, through Winchelsea and Deans Marsh to Lorne.
