The Lorne Ovenhouse offers a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to all holiday makers both young and old. Famous for our gourmet woodfired pizza’s the Ovenhouse has expanded over the years to incorporate the finest elements of Greek and modern Australian cuisine. Come in for all day breakfast, dinner, or enjoy our after dinner lounge and bar to relax after a hot day in the sunshine.
Menu
The Ovenhouse woodfired oven creates sumptuous meals with a distinct flavour. Our gourmet pizza’s display a touch of the coast, with local seafood and the freshest of ingredients, mixed with the influences of the Mediterranean.
The Ovenhouse also offers a wide range of main meals including fresh seafood linguine and house-made gnocchi blended with Greek flavours. Our famous lamb from Birregurra is slow roasted in our wood fired oven offering a texture and softness that melts away in your mouth. We also offer local tastes of baby Snapper and superb Scotch fillet. Although just a sample of our menu we promise you’ll enjoy all there is to offer.
For something sweet the Ovenhouse has fresh housemade ice-cream served with both chocolate rich or sweet and creamy desserts to complete your dining experience.
Wine
The Ovenhouse boasts an extensive wine list with regional, interstate or international wines to wet your palette. Our house wines are from the Pettavel winery of Waun Ponds, just West of Geelong. If our selection does not appeal feel free to bring your own bottle to enjoy with our meals. Corkage $10 per bottle, one bottle between four.
Functions
The lounge is available to all customers wishing to book a table for ten or more people (maximum 30pax). The lounge boasts comfortable seating with a big screen TV and viewing access to the woodfired oven. For larger bookings please contact us on 52892544.
